Blackjack Rules to Remember
It is important to note that when you play blackjack, you are not playing against other players around the table but against the one who’s dealing the cards, the dealer. So you don’t have to worry about other players because your chances of winning do not depend on them but with the cards that are dealt for you in each round. Another important thing to remember with this game is that are the values of each cards. All the cards that have numerical symbols are counted as what number they have and the kings, queens and jacks are counted as ten points then your ace cards can either be 11 or 1 depending on what the player wants.
Sticking by the Rules
The basic rule that blackjack applies is that, when one of the six players on the table exceeds 21 points, then that player loses the round. This rule is called “bust”, once the player is bust then he is out for the remainder of that round. It is important to remember this so that the players will be able to adjust to the rule. Getting a score of 21 points is easy; all you have to do is to add the value of the cards on your hand and once your card is higher than that of the dealer and does not exceed 21 points then you win the round.
The game will start with the players placing their bets, unlike other card game that you can place your bets after the cards are dealt. After the bets are placed, the dealer then deals the cards to each player and gets his own two cards and places them on the table one faced down and the other facing up. Players will then have to decide based on what the revealed card is from the dealers hand whether you hit or stand.
These are the simple rules that each blackjack novice players should observe. Once they are familiar with how these rules applies in an actual game, then they are ready for the more complex regulations that blackjack applies in games.
